As a licensed master electrician in the Province of Ontario I found the course very informative and rewarding. There are many facets of a solar PV installation that are new to any installer licensed electrician or not, and the knowledge gained by this introductory course would be a benefit to anyone.  I strongly recommend that anyone that is not from the electrical industry take this course prior to doing any PV installations as the risks and hazards present are far too great to attempt an install in this filed without proper training.

In any training, you have to teach at everyone’s level to be fair, but this can be under-stimulating for some if not managed well. The excellent part of the solar panel training and design course was Sean’s ability to simplify the basic electrical and mathematical content while keeping everyone engaged (even the experts). When the week was over and everyone had gone home, the information continued to flow, and that is what people need to hear.
